NATURE OF THE SERVICE

Lince is a technology provider: it develops and operates a software interface that allows each user, from their own wallet, to interact with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols operated by third parties.

Lince is not a bank or a financial institution. It does not grant loans, accept deposits from the public, engage in financial intermediation, or offer banking services of any kind. Use of the interface does not create a deposit relationship, investment mandate, or portfolio management relationship between the user and Lince.

NOTICE FOR USERS IN ARGENTINA

Lince LTD is not a financial institution authorized by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) nor is it registered with the National Securities Commission (CNV). Cryptoassets are not legal tender in the Argentine Republic, are not covered by deposit insurance, and do not enjoy the protections afforded to bank deposits.

The information published on this site is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice, nor does it constitute a public offering of securities under the terms of Law 26,831. If you have any questions regarding your specific situation, please consult a licensed professional.

NO CUSTODY OF FUNDS

Lince’s architecture is non-custodial: funds remain at all times in a wallet whose keys are controlled exclusively by the user. Lince never has possession, custody, or control of its users’ funds, and cannot transfer, freeze, or dispose of them.

Wallets are created using Privy’s embedded wallet infrastructure, under a system in which the keys remain under the user’s exclusive control.

SECURITY AND AUDITS

The infrastructure and smart contracts with which Lince interacts have been audited by Halborn, an independent blockchain security firm. Learn more on our Security page.

RISKS

The returns a user may earn come from DeFi protocols operated by third parties. They are variable and are not guaranteed by Lince or any third party, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Interacting with cryptoassets and DeFi protocols involves risks, including market risk, technological and smart contract risk, and the risk of partial or total loss of capital. Do not allocate funds that you cannot afford to lose.
